Inside the project

A light-filled home that performs
The brief was simple but demanding: maximise glass and natural light without compromising on thermal performance or that crisp, minimal aesthetic. We specified thermally broken aluminium throughout, with a structural glazed corner that removes the visual barrier between the kitchen and garden.
Triple-glazed sealed units keep the open-plan space warm and quiet, while the slimline bi-fold doors fold back completely in summer. The homeowners now have a living space that feels twice the size, and energy bills that reflect the A-rated glazing.
“The corner glazing is the talking point of the whole house. Prime understood exactly what we were trying to achieve.”
